În urma unui concurs desfășurat în 1995, a fost aleasă stema (vezi foto), realizată de Abrudan Maria Bianca, elevă în clasa a XI-a a Liceului de Artă din Cluj-Napoca. Această nouă reprezentare combină imaginea Monumentului Memorandiștilor, situat pe Bulevardul Eroilor, cu aceea a zeiței Minerva, deasupra cărora este plasată imaginea lupului dacic, precum și imaginea a șapte metereze/turnuri.

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
